Would you like to participate in the protection of the coastline and oceans? Come and discover how during a meeting with the Planète Mer team and its Director Laurent Debas. As part of World Maritime Day and in compliance with their eco-responsible commitments, Corinne & Thibault Lormand owners of the establishment Les Bulles de Mer, Sophie Pêche, director, and the association Planète Mer are joining forces.

- Introduction: "Biodiversity: dependent and supportive"
- Presentation of the methods of action proposed by Planète Mer to become an actor in the preservation of coastal biodiversity

20h - Dinner at the restaurant "Les Ganivelles" on the theme of forgotten fishes Menu at 40 € TTC (per person, excluding drinks, on reservation). 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Planète Mer.

Laurent Debas

Laurent Debas holds a doctorate in oceanology and is a specialist in fisheries issues,
aquaculture and the protection of the coastal environment. He has worked in French public institutions
Ifremer and INra, Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur Region, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries),
for the United Nations (FAO, South-East Asia) and for WWF (World Wild Fund for Nature).

 

For more than 20 years, his various functions have led him to manage teams and carry out programs
the protection of marine species and spaces
, the sustainable management of fisheries resources or the fight against
against oil pollution
. In 2004, he joined Jacques Perrin as a scientific advisor
and co-author of the film "Oceans". Since the end of 2007, he has been working on the development of Planète Mer,
an association of general interest whose mission is to preserve marine life and the human activities that depend on it.
It works on a daily basis to involve citizens in the future of the oceans, in a positive and constructive way.

 

An opportunity to better understand why and how to act to preserve coastal biodiversity,
by exchanging with enthusiasts who, through their actions, their writings, their statutes, will make us think.
